Sunset is my favorite time of day to look at wildflowers. Their colors are even more rich in the golden light. Primroses are delicate flowers, but this painting shows off their strength as well as their beauty.

This fine art oil painting was created using artist quality oil bars—one of my favorite media. I use them to draw directly on the canvas with oil paint and create rich textures.

The canvas is made of heavyweight cotton stretched on a frame 1.5” deep. The painting continues around each edge of the canvas. It has been varnished with a clear, protective coat and does not need to be framed. This piece comes with a hanging wire attached and is immediately ready to go on your wall.
