There is a wildflower field at a church not far from where I live. This piece was inspired by that field and the feeling of sitting down and being surrounded by bluebonnets.

This piece was drawn in fine artist quality oil pastel on a thick, archival paper. The image size is 8” by 10” and includes an 11” x 14” white, archival mat. This mat will fit a standard 11” x 14” frame. The frame is not included.

This piece has been treated with a light fixative, however it must be framed behind glass or plexiglass to protect the artwork. Take care when handling as oil pastel never truly dries and can be damaged by touch. Never frame an oil pastel without a mat or the art may adhere to the glass.
